Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to ask Off-Road Handbook to delete data we hold about you, including data we receive through our Facebook Page and Instagram account (@off_road_handbook) using Meta's APIs.
What data we may hold
- Messages you send to our Facebook Page or Instagram account, and our replies.
- Comments you leave on our Facebook or Instagram posts.
- Your public username and the account ID that Meta gives us for that conversation.
We use this only to read and answer your messages and comments. We do not sell it, use it for advertising profiles, or share it with anyone except the service providers that host our tools.
How to request deletion
- Send a message to our Instagram account @off_road_handbook or our Facebook Page that says "Delete my data", or use our Contact Us page and include your Instagram or Facebook username.
- We will delete the stored messages, comments and IDs linked to your account from our own records and tools within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.
You can also delete your own messages and comments at any time in the Instagram or Facebook app. Copies kept by Meta itself are covered by Meta's Privacy Policy.
See our Privacy Policy for more details.
